Prepare a supplier CSV without losing product data
Map supplier columns, review changes, and keep a source backup.
Start with a copy
Keep the original file. Export UTF-8 CSV and treat identifier columns as text. A .csv extension alone does not establish the encoding or delimiter.
Map the columns you have
Connect output headings to source columns. Preview before removing a column. Rowmend does not invent titles, prices, descriptions or stock levels.
Review each change
Trim spaces only when appropriate for the field. Repeated SKUs are reported for review and are never removed automatically.
Test the destination
Valid CSV structure does not prove a marketplace will accept an import. Check destination rules, images and variants separately; start with a small test import.
